FAQ
Your account: questions answered
A FaceSearch account keeps your scans, credits and plan together across the website and the apps. These answers cover the three ways to sign in, what to do when a password or sign-in method is lost, changing your details, exporting or deleting everything, how the referral programme pays, and the fastest way to reach a person.

Questions
01How can I sign in?
Three ways: an email address with a password of at least eight characters, a Google account, or an Apple account. Sign in the same way you created the account. If an email address is already attached to an account made another way, you see a message saying the sign-in is linked to a different account; use the original method, or email support if you cannot remember it.
02I forgot my password
On the login page choose Forgot password, enter your email, and a link to set a new password is sent if an account exists for that address. The link opens a page where you type the new password; after that you log in with it. If no email arrives, check spam and confirm you used the address on the account. Google and Apple sign-ins have no FaceSearch password to reset.
03Can I change my name or email?
Your display name can be edited on the Profile page at any time. The email address on the account cannot be changed from the website yet: email support@facesearch.cc from the current address and say which address you want instead, and we make the change after confirming it with you.
04How do I delete my account, and what is kept?
On the website: Profile, then Delete account, then confirm. In the apps: the Profile tab, Settings, Delete Account. Everything attached to the account is removed: your details, every photo you uploaded, your history and results, your referral code and statistics, and your sign-in credential. Kept only as the law requires: payment records, a record that the network already used its free guest credits, and anything needed for fraud prevention or security. Cancel subscriptions first.
05Can I download my data?
Yes. From the Profile page, use the download option to get a file with the data FaceSearch holds about you, including your account details and saved scans, in a machine-readable format. If you cannot sign in, email contact@facesearch.cc from the address on the account and we send the export to that address after verifying it.
06How does the referral programme work?
Your Referrals page shows a personal code and link. When someone signs up through it and buys a plan, you earn 20% of every plan they pay, on the first payment and on every renewal after. Earnings are paid out monthly once you have at least $50 to redeem; contact support from the Referrals page to redeem. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and other abuse are rejected under the terms.
07Can I search without an account?
Yes. The search page gives a small number of free normal searches with no account, after a quick browser check. Guest scans are not saved and deep search is not available. The free allowance is one per network, so clearing cookies, switching browsers or deleting an account does not create another. Creating a free account keeps your History and your remaining free searches.
08Can I have more than one account?
One account per person. Duplicate accounts are against the terms, do not give extra free credits, and can lead to referral rewards being withheld or accounts being closed. If you need separate accounts for separate purposes, such as personal and work, use different email addresses and keep each one for its own use.
09I lost access to my email or sign-in provider
For a Google or Apple sign-in, recover that account with Google or Apple first; FaceSearch access returns with it. For an email account you no longer control, email support@facesearch.cc from another address with the old address and details only the owner would know, such as the plan and recent search dates, and we verify before changing anything.
10How do I contact support?
Email support@facesearch.cc, including the address on your account so we can find it, or sign in and use the message form on the support page. For privacy requests, data exports you cannot run yourself and legal matters, use contact@facesearch.cc. A person replies; there is no bot queue.
