In 100 words
FaceSearch is a reverse face search engine built by Humanity Founders. A normal reverse image search finds copies of one picture; FaceSearch finds the same face in different photos across publicly accessible web pages and shows the page each match came from. People use it to find where their own photos are reused, to check a dating or marketplace profile, and to collect evidence against impersonation. The first search is free with no account. Paid plans start at $5 a week. Uploads are stripped of metadata, never sold and never used to build a face database. Removal from results is free. FaceSearch is available on the web, iOS and Android.

Assets
- Logo. The square mark at facesearch.cc/brand/logo.png. Use it unaltered, on a dark or light background, with clear space around it.
- Share image. The 1200 by 630 card at facesearch.cc/og-image.jpg.
- Colours. Lime #a3e635 on charcoal #101413, with bone #e0e3e1 for text. The wordmark is "Face" in bone and "Search" in lime.
- Screenshots. Available on request. We only supply screenshots that show the team's own faces or public-domain images, never a real search of a member of the public.
How we write about other engines
Our comparison pages are written by us and say so on every page. Prices carry the date we checked them, we show only our own results, and we state where the other engine is better. The methodology page publishes the test design; test results are added with a date once a round has been run. Quote them as a vendor's comparison, not an independent review.
What we will not comment on
- Individual users, individual searches or whether a particular person has used FaceSearch.
- Whether a particular face is in our index. The person themselves can run a free search and ask for removal.
- Law-enforcement requests, beyond confirming that we respond to lawful ones.
- Numbers we do not publish, such as user counts or index size. If we have not published a figure, we do not have one to give.
Contact
Email contact@facesearch.cc with the subject line "Press". Say who you write for, what the piece is about and your deadline. We aim to reply within two business days, sooner for a deadline the same week. Background on the product is on the about, how it works and privacy by design pages, and our rules for users are on the acceptable use page.
Questions
01Can we use the logo and screenshots?
Yes, in coverage of FaceSearch. Use the logo unaltered. Screenshots we supply may be published as they are; please do not create screenshots that show a search of a member of the public. Do not use the logo to suggest an endorsement.
02Do you share user numbers or index size?
No. We do not publish user counts, search volumes or index size, and we do not give unpublished figures to individual outlets. The facts table on this page is what we stand behind.
03Can we interview someone from the team?
Often, yes. Email the press contact with the topic, the outlet and the deadline. Product, privacy and policy questions are the ones we can answer best.
04Will you comment on news about other face search engines?
On the category in general, yes. On a specific competitor's legal or business situation, usually not, beyond what our dated comparison pages already say.
05A reader says their face is in your results. What should they do?
Point them to the removal page. Removal is free, needs one email with a clear photo of their face, and we confirm when it is done. They do not need an account or a reason.
