For creators
Face search for creators, models and streamers
If your face is your brand, your photos travel without you: reposted to aggregator sites, cropped into fake accounts, sold as someone else's content. FaceSearch finds the public pages where your face appears so you can see the copies, collect the evidence and get them taken down. Here is how creators actually use it, and what it will not do.
First search free. No account needed. Updated November 5, 2026 by The FaceSearch Team.
What you are up against
Creators share more photos of themselves than anyone else online, and every one of those photos is a file someone can save. Three problems come up again and again, and they are different problems with different fixes.
- Reposts and aggregatorsSites that scrape public feeds and republish whole galleries, usually with ads around them. They rarely credit you, and they are indexed by search engines, so they can outrank your own pages for your name.
- Fake accounts wearing your faceSomeone copies your photos, bio and style into a new account, then messages your followers asking for money, promoting a scam link or selling access to content that is not theirs. Your audience blames you first.
- Stolen content sold or leakedPaid or private content shared on forums and file dumps, sometimes with your name attached, sometimes under a made-up one. The face is often the only thing that ties the copy back to you, which is exactly what a face search matches.
A normal reverse image search handles the first problem when the repost is an exact copy. It fails on the second and third, because the thief crops, flips, filters and recaptions. A reverse face search matches the face, not the file, so it keeps finding you after the edits.
Three workflows
1. The weekly self-search
Pick two or three photos that look like your current public photos: one front-facing headshot, one typical thumbnail, one in your usual lighting. Search each one once a week and skim the results for pages you did not publish. Most weeks you will recognise everything. The point is the week you do not. Save the scans to your history so you can see what is new since last time. The step-by-step version is on find where your photos are being used.
2. The impersonation sweep
When a follower tells you about a copycat account, do the sweep before you report: search the photos the fake account is using, note every other page where they appear, and screenshot the account, its handle, its follower count and the messages it sent. Platforms act faster on a report with evidence, and a face search often shows you two or three sibling accounts run by the same person. The reporting routes are on someone is using your photos on a fake account and the per-platform pages for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
3. The takedown run
Each result comes with its source URL, which is the address a removal request needs. Work through them in order: platform report where the host is a platform, DMCA notice where you own the copyright (you took the photo, or your photographer assigned it to you), search-engine removal request for pages that will not respond. The photo takedown guide has the sequence and templates. Business plan subscribers can hand the list to us and we help draft and send the requests.
Which plan fits
| Plan | Price | What you get | Fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | First search free without an account; a free account adds 2 credits. Top results shown, source links locked. | A first look to see whether there is anything to worry about. |
| Starter | $5 per week | 5 normal credits per week, 3 deep search credits, every source link unlocked. | One weekly self-search plus a couple of spare checks. |
| Daily Pro | $20 per month | 25 normal credits per day, 15 deep search credits, deep search top-ups, premium support. | Several photos per check, more than one persona or account, active impersonation case. |
| Business | $50 per month | 2,500 normal credits, 50 deep search credits, take-down request help, 24/7 premium support. | Agencies, managers and creators with a repost problem who want help sending removals. |
A realistic cadence
FaceSearch does not watch the web for you. There are no alerts, no scheduled scans and no emails when something new appears; each search is one you run. That is a limitation, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. In practice a weekly reminder and a fixed set of photos covers most creators well, and a deep search once a month catches pages the normal pass misses.
Rules that apply to you
- Search your own face, and faces you represent with permission (a managed talent, a co-host who has agreed). Our acceptable use rules cover everyone who uses the service.
- Use the results to protect your content and your audience: report, request removal, warn followers. Do not use them to track down or confront the person running a fake account; report and let the platform or the police act.
- Keep your evidence private. Screenshots of a fake account are for reports, not for posting, because posting them spreads the copy and can expose other people in the images.
- If stolen content includes intimate images, StopNCII can fingerprint them so participating platforms block re-uploads, and the intimate image guidance lists the routes that work.

Questions
01Does FaceSearch find my content on repost and aggregator sites?
If the site is publicly accessible and the copy shows your face clearly, yes, that is the core use. Aggregators that sit behind a paywall or login are not indexed, and copies where your face is cropped out or heavily obscured will not match.
02Can you take the content down for me?
On the Business plan we help draft and send take-down requests for the pages you select; on other plans you send them yourself using the source URLs in your results and the templates in our takedown guide. No service can force a host to comply, but most platforms and many sites respond to a correct notice.
03How many searches do I need?
Most creators settle on two or three reference photos searched once a week, which the Starter plan covers. Add a deep search monthly, and more credits during an active impersonation case when you are checking several accounts at once.
04Do you store my photos?
The photo you upload is used to run your search, with its metadata stripped first. It is never sold and never used to build a face database. Saved scans sit in your history until you delete them; deleting your account removes everything.
05Will you alert me when a new copy appears?
No. FaceSearch has no monitoring or alert feature. Set your own weekly reminder and keep the same reference photos so scans are comparable from week to week.
06A fake account is using my photos right now. What first?
Screenshot the account and any messages it sent, warn your audience from your real account, then report it through the platform's impersonation form. Run a face search on the photos it uses to find sibling accounts and reposts, and include those URLs in your reports.
