What Reversely.ai is
Reversely.ai started as a reverse image search and has grown into a suite: AI Reverse Image Search, AI Face Search, AI Image Detector, Reverse Video Search and a Face Shape Detector, with a separate enterprise offer for KYC, brand protection and claims teams. The face search page says it isolates a face, extracts features such as eyes, nose, mouth and jawline, and compares them to a database of known faces. It accepts JPG, PNG, WEBP and HEIC files, uploads from cloud storage, and image URLs, and the site is available in 15 languages.
The business model is the main difference from FaceSearch. A search runs, the result is blurred, and a single result is unlocked for $9.99. Subscriptions replace that with a fixed number of face searches and source links per week or month, and add reverse video search, ad-free results and real-time alerts. If you need one answer once, the unlock is cheaper than any subscription; if you need ten answers, it is the most expensive route on this page.
Where Reversely.ai wins
- More tools. An AI image detector for spotting generated pictures, reverse video search and a face shape tool sit next to the face search. FaceSearch has none of these; for an AI-generated dating photo, Reversely's detector is a useful second check after a catfish check.
- Real-time alerts on every paid plan. FaceSearch has no alerts; you search again when you want to.
- A single-result option. $9.99 for one unlocked result, no subscription. FaceSearch's smallest purchase is a $5 week.
- Weekly plans with source-link quotas that scale up to 175 links a month on Gold.
- Languages. The site is translated into 15 languages. FaceSearch is in English.
Where FaceSearch wins
- No per-result fees. Every source link on every result is included on any paid plan. Reversely charges per unlock or caps links per period.
- Cheaper at volume. Ten searches cost two $5 weeks on Starter, or come inside a $20 Daily Pro month that allows 25 a day. Ten Reversely unlocks cost $99.90; its Silver month covers 15 searches for $14.99 but only 75 links.
- A free first search without an account. Drop a photo on the search page and see ranked matches before you decide anything.
- Deep search for a wider pass, with top-ups on Daily Pro and Business.
- Plainer claims. Reversely's face search page talks about identifying unknown individuals and searching live video streams and CCTV footage. FaceSearch returns public web pages where a similar face appears, says so, and never claims to identify anyone. See how we read results.
- Take-down help on the Business plan.

Its FAQ mentions Professional and Business tiers and annual billing that do not appear on the pricing page, so confirm what you are buying on the Reversely.ai pricing page.
Privacy and removal compared
Reversely's face search page says uploaded images are removed after processing and that a privacy protocol protects images from unauthenticated use; it gives no retention period for results, and it does not name the sources behind its face database. It has an opt-out request page and a DMCA request page. FaceSearch strips metadata from your upload, uses it only to run the search, never sells it or adds it to a face database, and removes your face from results for free by email; see privacy by design and remove my photos. Removal is per engine on both sides.
Switching from Reversely.ai to FaceSearch
- Run the same photo on FaceSearch without an account and compare the ranked matches with the blurred Reversely result before paying either side.
- If you were using Reversely's AI image detector or reverse video search, keep those or use free alternatives; FaceSearch does not replace them. See face search vs reverse image search.
- Start a $5 Starter week for every source link, or Daily Pro if you search often.
- Cancel the Reversely subscription in your account; it runs to the end of the paid cycle. To take your face out of its results, use its opt-out request page.
Questions
01Is Reversely.ai better than FaceSearch?
It offers more kinds of tool: an AI image detector, reverse video search and alerts alongside face search. For face search itself, FaceSearch starts free without an account, includes every source link on any paid plan and costs less per search, and it does not charge per unlocked result. Which is better depends on whether you want the suite or the face search.
02Is Reversely.ai free?
Partly. The site offers limited free searches with basic results, but a face result is blurred until you pay $9.99 to unlock it or take a weekly or monthly plan. FaceSearch's first search is free without an account; every source link needs a paid plan from $5 a week.
03Is Reversely.ai legal or safe to use?
Searching your own face is lawful on both engines. Reversely says uploads are removed after processing and offers opt-out and DMCA pages. Its marketing talks about identifying unknown individuals and searching CCTV footage, which are uses you should not attempt anywhere; our legal guide and acceptable use page explain why.
04Can I use both Reversely.ai and FaceSearch?
Yes. Each engine has crawled pages the other has not, and Reversely's AI image detector is a useful extra check on a suspicious dating photo. Run both on a stolen-photo problem. Removal is separate on each: email us for FaceSearch, use Reversely's opt-out page for its results.
05Which is cheaper?
For a single result, Reversely's $9.99 unlock is close to a $5 FaceSearch Starter week that gives five searches with all links. For ten or more searches FaceSearch is cheaper: two Starter weeks or one $20 Daily Pro month, against $99.90 in unlocks or a $14.99 Silver month capped at 75 links.
06What does the $9.99 unlock on Reversely.ai actually buy?
One result unlocked for one search, shown on the page struck through from $17.99. The subscription plans replace that with a fixed number of face searches and source links per week or month. On FaceSearch there is nothing to unlock: a paid plan shows every source link on every result.
